CDT is committed to meeting hospital needs in education for their responsibilities concerning organ and tissue donation. This includes training in the identification and management of the organ and tissue donor, family dynamics, operating room responsibilities and requesting tissue donation. Each of the 46 hospitals in CDT’s service area has a trained organ procurement coordinator assigned to it to assist in educational programming and other donation-related needs. Community Education

CDT is the primary source of information on donation in the regions it serves. We attend numerous health fairs, presentations and other events to inform and educate the public. CDT offers speakers to give presentations on donation at schools, colleges, religious organizations, corporations, social service groups and other organizations.
