The Way Back: Recovering & Reclaiming Your Life
Celebrate the lifesaving impact of donation and the power of second (and third, and fourth!) chances AND help the Center for Donation make more LIFE possible! We are so excited to be teaming up with the Recycledman Foundationand 5x Ironman Athlete, Heart Transplant Recipient and Cancer Survivor Derek Fitzgerald for this phenomenal health and wellness workshop that is all about living a full, healthy and meaningful life.
The workshop will take place on July 24th, the day after this year’s Lake Placid Ironman, and will start at 12 pm on the beautiful lawns of the Adirondack Community Church, directly across from the legendary Olympic Center in downtown Lake Placid. It is free and open to the public! Just wear comfortable clothes and bring some water.
A very special thank you to the following hospital partners and community supporters for helping to make this workshop possible:

For some, coming back from a significant health challenge seems like an impossible task. Our lives can spiral away from us if we don’t make an effort to reclaim our previous independence. Join us as fitness professionals, athletes and inspirational speakers lead a workshop aimed at providing the tools and motivation needed to get you back to leading a healthy and active life worth fighting for. The workshop will be a combination of gentle yoga, stretching and sequences to build core strength, following by a moment of gratitude and a wellness & informational panel.
