7. Jan 1, 2011 - 2011 Tournament of the Roses Parade

   Featuring the Donate Life Rose Parade float, Seize the Day.  This year's float will include a local rider, heart recipient and CDT volunteer John Weakley, as well as a memorial floragraph of a young local woman, Lindsey Baron.

8. Mar 30, 2011 - 2011 Education Day & Awards Dinner

   Saratoga Springs, NY

   Join CDT, transplant recipients, donor families and nationally know speakers Charlie Alexander, RN and President of UNOS, Helen Bottenfield, RN, and President of the Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance and Dr. Linda Cendales, Emory University Hospital for an amazing day of learning .  Education topics will include: A National Report on Organ Donation, Vascular Challenges in Hand Transplantation, Becoming a Donation Champion.

9. May 7, 2011 - kLaVoy5K

   May7, 2011 is the 4th Annual kLaVoy5k a community event to help raise awareness about organ & tissue donation. All proceeds from this event go directly to The Center for Donation & Transplant - Donate Life

   What:  A 5K race in memory of Kristen LaVoy
